Responsibilities:

• Understand and follow designs to meet objectives
• Participate in improving the code base by performing code reviews
• Create simple and high quality code
• Integrate user facing elements developed by front end developers
• Use your passion to build innovative solutions to solve problems with the right technologies

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience in building scalable and efficient web applications
• Strong database skills with PostgreSQL
• Knowledge in object-oriented methodologies, design patterns, database design, and data modeling
• Experience with Ruby on Rails for quickly developing web applications
• Experience creating and using RESTful APIs in Rails
• Experience working with microservices and event based architectures
