Our client specialises in cybersecurity, blockchain technology, and machine learning solutions for enterprise clients. Their goal is to collaborate human and machine interaction. They create a way to share intelligence/knowledge but without sharing data, which makes it a secure way. Currently, they are looking for a dedicated, experienced Machine Learning Engineer, to join the international team in Berlin.

Responsibilities: 

• Design, code and deploy highly scalable reinforcement learning systems
• Adapt standard machine learning methods to best exploit modern parallel environments
• Visualise key statistical concepts of underlying models and their performance
• Code deliverables in tandem with the rest of the tech team
• Evaluate different statistical models taking into consideration trade-off between model improvement vs scalability
• Learn and teach about state-of-the-art computational statistics techniques
• Help drive optimisation, testing, and tooling to improve quality

Requirements:

• Background: informatics, mathematics, physics, data science, or similar
• Experience with Python
• Deep understanding of reinforcement learning, machine learning, and neural networks
• Fluent in English, German is a plus
• Interested in state-of-the-art research on reinforcement learning
• Experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Know the difference between software developed as a tool for your research, and software developed for use in production by customers
