This client is a world leading travel search engine that gathers information for customers to help them find the best vacation. The website scans prices on flights, hotels, and car hire, and then allows users to book directly through the providers. They are building state-of-the-art tools in online marketing automation to extend public outreach, and are looking for Java Backend Developers to help improve and maintain the world leading search and booking technology. The new team members will be an essential part of a high powered team that keeps everything running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Implement new backend Trips feature
• Improve existing features, with an eye towards speed and user experience

Requirements:

• 3+ years relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a relevant field, such as Computer Science
•  Java experience
• Hands-on and self motivated
• Skilled in: Spring, SQL, HTTP, XML, and JSON
• A plus: MySQL, ElasticSearch, Kafka, AWS, Tomcat, Apache
