Responsibilities:

• Code reviews and application debugging
• Maintain services and APIs
• Practice modern development methodologies
• Design and implement Big Data applications
• Contributed to the development of content discovery platforms

Requirements:

• A technical degree in Computer science or a related field
• Experience developing Scala applications
• Development and co-ownership of applications used by over 100,000 daily users
• NoSQL technologies experience
• Knowledge with Scala frameworks such as Play framework, Akka, Lagom, etc.
• Creative outside-the-box problem solving abilities
