Responsibilities

• Work closely with a top team in a continuous deployment workflow
• Analysis and optimisation of the companies JVM based backend services for reliability and infrastructure
• Automate maintenance, scaling and configuration of the companies cloud infrastructure running on AWS
• Diagnose and repair applications and network bottlenecks
• Working on a multi-datacentre setup using the latest techs- Marathon, Chef, Docker, Mesos, Kafka, Cassandra as examples.

Requirements

• 4 years+ experience in operations or DevOps
• Experienced with TCP/IP, HTTP, web application security
• Experience supporting multi-tier web application architectures
• Experience in monitoring, optimising and debugging JVM applications
• Experience in scaling high traffic sites
• Experience with configuration management tools and scripting languages
