Responsibilities:
- Build data products that satisfy customers and boost business
- Support the growth of the data team by helping with recruitment, mentoring, and team building
- Develop ideas from hypothesis testing over prototyping to code in production
- Specify data needs to maximise efficiency for algorithms
- Identify new product opportunities based on the vast amount of data collected and stored
Requirements:
- 4+ years experience in a business environment
- Fluent in a modern programming language (Scala)
- Machine learning- apply regressors, classifiers, and recommenders
- Able to transform data into wisdom and know how to test hypotheses
- Masters or PhD in a relevant field
