Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain the data infrastructure
- Provide a reliable and flexible platform for payment related analytics
- Write documentation for scripts
- Develop and maintain ETL processing pipelines
- Make suggestions for how the team can use technologies and architecture to improve the data platform
- Extract data from third party tools and APIs
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, e.g. computer science
- Expert knowledge of SQL
- Experience with column oriented databases and optimisation techniques
- 5+ years experience in data engineering
- Knowledge of Linux platforms and scripting capabilities
- Able to solve problems creatively
- Database administration experience
- Good knowledge of an object oriented language (e.g. Java or Python)
